Software Development Intern @ Digital Services Team

In the Summer of 2022 and 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Digital Services Team at H.H. Angus, where I collaborated in a variety of projects and learned a lot about Software Development Practices and Principles.
At the time of the internship, the Digital Services Team at H.H. Angus was working on several projects and initiatives to improve workflows internally and provide value to customers externally. Having worked on some of these projects, I learned a lot about certain DevOps and software design principles.
Many of my colleagues in the company use Revit as their primary or secondary CAD software, as it is a requirement for the engineering work conducted. However, some of the work that needs to be done can be tedious and time consuming. As part of my internships, I worked on building tools and extensions for the Revit software using pyRevit. The tools were able to reduce the time taken for labelling rooms from taking a couple work hours to less than a couple minutes.
